Who are we?
We are a small non-profit that has been running for the past few years. still, we are here to make a BIG impact on homelessness in Chicago and suburbs. We offer clothes, shoes, toiletries and a nutritional meal to help those fighting for their lives every day.
How do we do it?
We deliver these necessities directly to the individual in need. This means we will be walking or stopping on the side of the road with our mobile vehicle. Most homeless families and individuals do not have means of transportation. Thus, we do not have a current location to distribute these items. Instead, we go directly to the people.
When and where will we do it ?
Donation runs are posted in the event dates section, aiming to do one big run a month. The main location we head out to are downtown Chicago and the suburbs surrounding the city. Ready, to-go bags are prepared with toiletry essentials for hygiene and are always ready to distribute on a moments notice.
Why do we do it?
It’s easy to get caught up in our busy lives and forget to consider others. Some people long for the simple things we often take for granted. We believe everyone, no matter their past or current condition, deserves a meal and basic toiletries to care for themselves.
